Sonya, 39 years old
Sofia, Bulgaria

Sonya was born in the family of diplomats and grew up in Barcelona, Spain. He came to live in Sofia when she is 13 years old. She studied at the Spanish Language School and the Sofia University, specializing in Cultural Management. After graduating, she failed to find a job in the field of art and culture and therefore started working as an advertising agency account manager. After several years in the advertising industry, Sonya has been promoted to Advertising & Marketing Director at EUROBET Ltd. Currently, she works as a Group Marketing Director in a large financial house. Married to an Armenian and has two children – boys, the one is from a previous marriage.

Sonya is emotional but at the same time practical and likes to hold control in every situation. Before deciding anything (about what medicines to buy or to change the brand of margarine that the family uses) – Sonya likes to view forums and information on the Internet. She has also often consulted with friends. According to her, one needs to check what are all possible options and think well so that one can finally choose the best.

She wants to use datasets to justify her decisions to the company’s senior management. Sonya does not like to risk and always “bet on the safe” by going “trampled paths”. In this way, she always climbs relatively quickly and consistently on her professional path. She likes to reassure herself and has plenty of reasons why she has taken a prudent decision. This is partly because deep inside she is not confident. IndustryInform reports would therefore be particularly useful to her – they will justify her decisions.

In her spare time, she likes to go out with her children and friendly families in the park, shop from foreign online stores, visit newly opened restaurants in Sofia and travel. She loves expensive bags and shoes and believes that quality products deserve higher prices.
